The Railway Group Standards Code (the Code) defines the governance arrangements for making changes to Railway Group Standards.
Proposals for changes to Railway Group Standards and related documents should be submitted to RSSB using the Proposal for RSSB document change form. The form contains some guidance as to how it should be completed.
Completed forms should be sent to: Head of Standards Management, RSSB, Block 2 Angel Square, 1 Torrens Street, London, EC1V 1NY or e-mailed to proposalsanddeviations@rssb.co.uk
RSSB will check the proposal for completeness, assess the scale of the work involved and then submit it to the relevant Standards Committee for consideration. This will either be the next Standards Committee, or the next but one.
When a proposal to change a RGS is received by RSSB, it is recorded in the Proposals register. This tracks the progress of the proposal through the consideration process described in the Railway Group Standards Code.
