One of RSSB’s core services to the GB rail industry is the analysis of risk in order to identify hazardous events and precursors, and evaluate their relative importance. RSSB collates, analyses and provides safety intelligence to Railway Group Members to enable them to allocate resources on safety in the most effective way. This safety intelligence and advice on risk is also used within RSSB to inform Railway Group Standards and other initiatives.
