Appeals

Any RSSB or Standards Committee decision, delay or failure to act under the Railway Group Standards Code (the Code) may be subject to appeal. There are two levels of appeal, first to the Board of RSSB and secondly to the Office of Rail Regulation (ORR).

Appeals to the Board should be made in writing and, once the Board has considered the appeal, a written statement setting out the decision and the reasons for it will be produced. This statement will be sent to all stakeholders involved in the matter and will also be published on the RSSB website.
