Frequently Asked Questions

What are Rail Industry Approved Codes of Practice?

If the industry has identified a need to define a potentially suitable and sufficient means (but not the only means) of meeting an identified set of mandatory measures within a Railway Group Standard, RSSB may issue a Rail Industry Approved Code of Practice (RACOP). Further details about RACOPs and the process that applies for their approval is contained within the Standards Manual, which is available from the RSSB website.
