Risk Analysis

One of RSSB’s core services to the UK rail industry is the analysis of risk in order to identify hazardous events and precursors, and evaluate their relative importance. The risk analysis team collates, analyses and provides safety intelligence data to Railway Group Members to enable them to allocate resources on safety in the most effective way. This safety intelligence and advice on risk is also used within RSSB to inform Railway Group Standards and other initiatives.

The members of the risk team at RSSB possess a wide range of mathematical and engineering experience, complementing their knowledge of risk management within the railway industry.
