How we collect data to protect rail workers' health

Data helps us to understand and protect the health and wellbeing of rail workers. With good analysis, we can manage risks and spot trends as they emerge. The Annual Safety Performance Report shows we are doing well, but there is still work to do to maintain this record.

Various projects are under way here to help us identify and collect the data we need. A big development was the endorsement of the health and wellbeing roadmap, and agreement of some rail companies to work with the Health and Wellbeing Programme to collect the recommended data.
