RSSB has launched a new @RSSB.Rail Facebook page for anyone in the rail industry to find out more about how RSSB is supporting them and provide feedback.
By raising its profile on the world’s most popular social network, RSSB hopes to make more of its content accessible and shareable among those who work in or are interested in the industry. RSSB’s core purpose is about bringing the rail industry together and so by extending this to Facebook, it hopes it will connect its work to wider audiences across the industry.
John Abbott, Director of External Engagement said: Collaboration is a core part of RSSB’s purpose and we know the rail industry is full of passionate and dedicated employees, many of whom will already be using Facebook to follow other organisations, as well as their friends, family and colleagues.
“We want to make the work RSSB does more accessible to those who maybe already know some of our work but perhaps don’t get to see the range of what we do, or may not have ever had the opportunity to talk to us. So this is a great listening opportunity for us too, and the chance to get more feedback when people like, share or comment on our posts.
