RSSB Regional Engagement Days to return in 2016
Featured story

Following the success of this year’s Regional Engagement Days, RSSB will once again enable members and stakeholders to meet and discuss topical issues across the industry by running another series of events in spring 2016.

RSSB held its first set of Engagement Days this autumn, arranging events in London, Derby, York, Glasgow and Bristol.  Various presentations were given, including the following topics:

  • The new Rail Health and Safety Strategy
  • The project to develop the next generation safety reporting system (SMIS+)
  • Progress with the platform train strategy
  • How to get involved with the rail innovation programme

The Engagement Days received excellent feedback from those that attended, with delegates commenting that “RSSB’s endeavours to engage more rigorously across the industry is to be applauded.”  “Format - perfect. Approachable presenters at the breaks - great! This brought RSSB to me - just what I needed.”

As a result of the success of this year’s Engagement Days, RSSB is planning to repeat the event in spring 2016, enabling continued engagement with our members and key stakeholders.  If you would like more information, please contact
