RSSB is undergoing a programme of change so that what, how and when we deliver our products and services is better aligned with the needs of our members and other funders.
Our vision is to be a centre of excellence, valued by members and stakeholders as an essential contributor to your success. The feedback you have given via the ORR review, member consultation and scorecards has made it clear that we must get better at understanding and responding to members’ business priorities. We also need a sustainable business model so that we have the funds and people to support you. We have begun our journey of change and want to update you about our plans.
We have set ourselves an ambitious 12-month plan to build on our strengths, tackle our weaknesses and create the capability to rise to future challenges. This is focussed on outcomes for our members, steered by our values, and enabled by the commitment of all of us at RSSB. Success also depends on you, our members and stakeholders, partnering with us in the new settlement to actively contribute to delivery of the work programme that reflects industry priorities.
We are changing the balance of our activities so that we efficiently deliver the things you have told us you value and want more of. This means we will stop doing some things you have told us are lower priority. We will communicate clear targets for improvement of our productivity. We also know that to become the transparent, agile and accountable organisation you want, we need to change our internal processes and culture; so behind the scenes we are radically changing how we work.
