Synopsis
You will need this module if you carry out the duties of a train driver, guard, shunter, designated person (DP), signaller, crossing keeper or person in charge of sidings in AC electrified areas.
Summary Of Changes
The rules for operating trains past a protecting signal towards an isolated section have been updated to support the reduction of detonator use. The possession limit board remains in place to mark the end of the movement, but the requirement to place three detonators has been removed. The updated rules place greater emphasis on clear communication between the signaller and the driver to ensure a shared understanding of the procedure and the limits of the movement. Wording in this module has been aligned with GERT8000-DC to ensure consistency in style and terminology.
