RSSB’s Human Factors team runs three training courses for people working in the rail industry. These courses are delivered at RSSB’s offices in Moorgate, London.
Human Factors Awareness Course for Incident Investigators has been developed for people involved in undertaking incident and accident investigations in the rail industry. The course focuses on the analysis of incidents and accidents from a human factors perspective. This course lasts two days.
The Non-Technical Skills Train the Trainer Course is primarily designed for trainers who may need to cascade non-technical skills (NTS) training within their own companies. The course provides delegates with an in-depth understanding of non-technical skills so that attendees can increase the understanding of NTS within their own companies. This course last four days.
The Situational Judgement Exercise, Multi-Modal Interview and Written Communication Test training has been designed for train driver assessment staff from across the GB rail industry who need to administer the SJE, MMI and WCT as part of the new train driver selection process. This course lasts three days with a one day follow-up workshop.
