Risk and Safety Intelligence Update - Period 5 2025-2026

In Period 5, RSI managed the mail-out of a letter written by the Chair of our System Safety Risk Group about Safe Insights. RSI completed the first phase of the Freight Precursor Indicator Model project. A new framework for managing risk from medical impairment in safety-critical occupations has been published as part of research project T1324. RSI presented on the risk profile of a track worker at one of Network Rail’s safety days. Finally, RSI and RSSB colleagues met with representatives from Chiltern Railways at Marylebone Station on 6 August.
