Methods of reducing operating costs on lightly trafficked lines (TM-SIG-9)

This report examines the present methods of operating lightly trafficked lines and then proceeds to examine ways of cheapening these methods. Finally an operating method is discussed whereby all ‘signalling’ is verbal.
