Economic interests and technical concepts for the use of composite in rail

Subject to implement a functional approach, holistic, integrative and "inverted", the application of composite materials to railway structures allows a significant improvement in technical performance as well as savings. This paper summarizes the methodology required, the advantages and disadvantages of such an approach.
