Development of new tilt truck for 'WEST-21' of high speed curving vehicle on small radius curves

This paper is on the concept of the vehicle which can run at much higher speed on small radius curves, and the current development of trucks which are main parts. The vehicle was named "WEST-21". West Japan Railway Company (JR WEST) and Railway Technical Research Institute (RTRI) are jointly developing.
