The NAOS approach: a new way for conceiving more applicable safety regulations

Many studies show that operators regularly make adjustments to the safety regulations prescribed by their organization without the reliability being compromised. Thus, prescribed rules coexist with autonomous rules. Among the reasons: some rules are not suited to their work context, other rules do not consider the activity and agents characteristics.
