A long-term observation system for protecting railroad services from natural disasters against climate changes causing heavier precipitation
Last updated on 15 March 2013 4:13
To provide customers with safe and comfortable railroad services, long-term and remote sensing technologies have been developed against abnormal climate changes to increase precipitation and cause serious ground disasters including landslides. With this technique employing optical and chemical sensors, ground disasters can be predicted around three months before they occur.
