Analysis of the safety of the train control system of Qinghai-Tibet railway

Considering the conditions of Qinghai-Tibet Line, a train control scheme combining Radio Based Cab Signaling (RBCS), on-board ATP and station interlocking is proposed. The architecture of the train control system is described, together with the functionality of each sub-system. The reliability and safety of the system is analyzed.
