Selection and calibration of a heat flux corrosion test for the evaluation of proprietary antifreezes (TM-CPC-018)

Diesel engine cooling systems are particularly prone to corrosion at sites where heat is transferred into the cooling water. The need to simulate corrosion under conditions of heat-flux in the laboratory has been identified and a suitable test method selected and calibrated.
