Wheel damage prediction on the WSPER (MR-VS-053)
Last updated on 12 April 2013 3:02
It has previously been demonstrated that high wheel slip levels during braking can cause Martensite to form on wheel tread surfaces. A method of estimating whether such damage may occur has also been developed. This method was suitable for incorporation into the Wheel Slide Protection Evaluation Rig (WSPER) software suite.
