Simulator evaluation of Westinghouse WSP equipment (TR-VS-003)

A hybrid test simulator has been developed by British Rail Research to evaluate the performance of Wheel Slide Protection (WSP) equipment under simulated conditions. A request was received from Westinghouse Brake and Signal Ltd to carry out tests of their equipment on the ‘WSP Simulator' under contract number B0591.
