Tests on bridge no. 72, ECML to assess the effects of the class 91 locomotive on bridges (TM-CES-112)

The report describes a test carried out on a viaduct which was regarded as being typical in respect of the damage it sustained from fast passenger trains. The work compares the measured 'damage related' effects from existing passenger service traffic to those recorded during passes of the Class 91 Locomotive.
