A derailment occurred at Lisslngley (Lines) on 16th August 1987, and the conclusion at the Joint Enquiry was that it was caused by a track buckle under the train. The track was 95 8H, CWR, on concrete sleepers with CS1 chairs and had a history of longitudinal rail movement...
