Concrete sleeper performance observations of sleeper soffit abrasion & structural cracks noted during traxcavating work (TM-CES-103)

In-situ site surveys have been made of many main line concrete sleepered lengths to record the visible defects such as structural cracking, loosening of cast-in components etc. Report No TM CES 069 dated July 1986 presented the findings from 30 randomly selected sites on the West Coast Main Line.
