Strip examination of HK brake A34M at 21 000 miles (IM-BS-016)

The wheelset containing HK brake serial number A34M was taken out of service for inspection. When pressure tested by Derby Locomotive Works it exhibited a heavy leak. The brake was therefore sent to Research and Development Division for a strip inspection. The brake was built by Blake and Sons...
