Vertical track models for use in corrugation formation theories (IM-VTI-012)

Last updated on 10 May 2013 12:07
In order to ascertain whether a varying vertical load can be involved in any way in the generation of corrugations on railway lines it is necessary to create a mathematical model of the track. This comprises ballast and formation, sleepers, rail pads and rails, and will have resonances and anti-resonances.
