Full scale fire testing of rail vehicles (TM-HAZ-018)

This paper reviews the facilities available at the Railway Technical Centre, Derby for fire testing rail vehicles and components to permit design and construction decisions to be taken. The facilities provide a progressive route for materials selection based not on small sample testing but on actual components and realistic sources.
