Structural crashworthiness - a new rationale - first draft (IM-EST-029)

This note attempts to set out a preliminary rationale for the future end loading design of passenger carrying vehicles and locomotives. The ideas put forward are tentative and will need discussion and refinement as further information, particularly in respect of costs, becomes available.
