Impact tests on glued insulated rail joints (IM-CES-020)

In order to produce some initial debonding prior to laboratory fatigue loading a number of glued insulated rail joints have been subjected to "DropWeight" tests. This memorandum describes the joints, the method of test and lists the results for the joint assemblies tested.
