Train planning on British rail (IM-SE-010)

Last updated on 24 May 2013 3:38
Train planning on B.R. is a highly specialised task, it is centralised into five offices, one on each region. Train planning is not simply the preparation and issue of timetables. It also deals with the allocation of resources (locomotives, rolling stock and traincrews) and the issue of many related publications.
