Proof loads for bogie frames (IM-EST-016)

It is recommended that at the commencement of bogie structural design, a set of Proof Loads are established as soon as the general suspension configuration is known. These loads will provide a simple but rigorous means of determining the nominal structure dimensions and assessing alternative designs at an early stage.
