Evaluation of a thermit technique for repairing damaged rail - preliminary report (TM-MF-059)

Thermit Welding (GB) Ltd have submitted a small batch of simulated rail head surface weld repairs for evaluation, with a view to approving the process for wheel-burn and squat repairs. This report describes the testing of these welds.
