Cut foundation and rail head vertical longitudinal profiles associated with ballast cleaning (Gloucester 23 Aug 81) (IM-TD-033)

This ballast cleaning project was part of the Soil Mechanics Section DTp sponsored work to correlate the vertical longitudinal level of the foundation cut by a ballast cleaning machine, to the vertical rail head level which existed prior to cleaning, and the vertical level which develops after cleaning and trafficking.
