Further to TM VS3, "The Waterloo and City Railway: Options for replacement rolling stock and alternative systems of operation", Matra-Transport, a subsidiary of the French electronics and engineering group have presented an outline scheme for the Waterloo and City line, using the technology they developed for the Lille Metro (VAL).
