Development of a pneumatic servo-valve to provide airspring tilt (TM-DOS-104)
Last updated on 07 June 2013 2:37
In the past railway vehicles have been fitted with passive secondary suspension systems where the ride height, and therefore ride, is dependant upon the load. The MK III coach was fitted with self levelling airsprings giving a ride largely independant of load - a very elementary type of active suspension.
