Calculation of blow-off by wind of simple overhead line equipment (IM-ES-078)

This memorandum sets out a method to calculate the horizontal displacement of simple overhead line equipment, caused by wind loading on the wires and support structure. The method uses a mathematical model which can also be used in the solution of other OHLE related force problems.
