Distribution of current between catenary and contact of MK III a 25 kV O.H.L.E. (IM-AMC-005)

Measurements of current sharing between Catenary and Contact were made in 1973 but analytical deductions from the results were not made. This memorandum calculates the impedance of the catenary and deduces that the steel conductors contribute an insignificant extra component of inductance by virtue of their permability.
