The track involved is on an uphill curve on the iron-ore train route from Immingham to Scunthorpe (loaded direction). Spread of gauge up to about 25 mm (1 inch) has occurred, some of the trouble being due to bending over of the heads of the Pandrol shoulders in the sleepers...
