The use of rail force transducer (installation calibration and interpretation of data) (TM-TS-080)

Following a brief description of the operating principles, this note provides a practical description of the procedures for installation, calibration and reading of the Rail Force Transducer (RAFT). The interpretation of the readings in terms of stress free temperature (SFT) is also described.
