Initial findings of APT-E wheelslide survey (IM-PS-170)

The APT-E train is fitted with wheelslip protection (WSP) equipment manufactured by Westinghouse Brake and Signal Company. Each one of the 10 axles is monitored during brake applications for wheelslide and in addition the powered axles have wheelspin prevention equipment. For the present purposes only axles 3 to 8 i.e.
