Energy losses in Ballasted and paved concrete slab track (IM-TS-051)

Measurements have been made at the Radcliffe-on-Trent and Duffield tests sites to determine track stiffness and damping coefficient values. From this work an attempt has been made to determine values of energy that are dissipated in the track.
