Broken MK II swing nose crossing - West Drayton (TM-FM-044)

The Vee rail of a 1 in 10¾ Mk II swing nose crossing has been submitted by the Western Region for examination. The crossing had been installed in a facing position in the Down Relief line near West Drayton in September 1970 and had subsequently fractured on 20 May 1974.
