A.P.T. - E strain monitoring runs 1 and 2 (IM-FM-048)

Two APT-E bogies, one E1 and one E1T have had strain gauges attached during assembly with the intention of measuring strain at critical locations and loads transmitted through the bogies. A number of calibrations have been performed providing the relationship between strain and load for some of the bogie components.
