Assessment of the suitability of modified aluminium beer barrels ('grundycasks') for the braking system air receivers on A.P.T. (TM-FM-011)

The braking system of the A.P.T. includes air receivers of various capacities. Specially-made pressure vessels, in the quantities required for production A.P.T.'s, would be very expensive, and it was felt worthwhile to investigate the possibility of using vessels currently being mass-produced, since it was expected that these would be cheaper.
