Instrumentation for stiffness tests on the Alsthom link to be used on the class 87 locomotive (IM-IS-068)

These tests wore carried out during July 1972 by the Materials Applications section of the Research Department to obtain the stiffness of the Alsthom link under static and dynamic conditions, The tests were carried out at Darby on the M.T.S. System B test rig.
