Instrumentation for dynamic stiffness tests on Alsthom link for class 87 loco (IM-IS-077)

The tests were carried out during September, 1972 in conjunction with the Fracture Mechanics Section to investigate the dynamic stiffness of an Alsthom Link as used on the Class 87 locomotives. The tests were performed on the M.A.N. "plus-minus" machine in the Main Research Test Hall.
