Stability Inspection Method for Existing Retaining Walls

Visual inspection methods are currently used on existing retaining structures. Consequently it is difficult to evaluate a structural health of the retaining walls quantitatively. In this study, a series of model tests on retaining walls were carried out to develop an inspection method for quantitatively evaluating existing railway retaining walls.
