Examination of HSFV 5 Covab No. 200221 at R.T.C. after I.W. maintenance at Horwich (TM-DA-012)

All the "Taperlite" COVABs, apart from the Tribometer vehicle, are currently in revenue earning service. Before they entered service it was decided that no maintenance should be carried out on the suspension at Works or Depots and that the vehicle suspensions would be regularly inspected by our Field Trials Section.
