Wind speeds, aerodynamic forces and the lateral suspension system (IM-EDYN-003)

The maximum gust speeds which can be expected in the British Isles are assessed for both catastrophic failure and bump stop contact conditions. The latter condition is used to define a lateral suspension frequency.
