Radcliffe-on-Trent phase 2 test length. Structural design of the paved in-situ waybeams for the channel tunnel test length (IM-PACT-029)

The beams are cast-in-situ longitudinals, continuously under each rail. They sit on near continuous resilient pads in channels in heavy rigid precast concrete units. The rails are supported on the beams, again on near continuous resilient pads. A diagrammatic section of the track construction is shown in Fig.I.
